Scratch has become highly popular among children aged 8 and above, however is not suitable for children of a younger age. ScratchJr is an app, designed for young children aged 5 to 7, and introduces children to the world of programming. This app allows these young creators to program their own games and interactive stories. The app uses graphical programming blocks which easily snap together to string algorithms. This course is designed as a stepping stone towards Scratch, which is used by children aged 7 and above.
